If by that he means he'd turn them into a party run by a right-wing dunce, then he just might be right.

The Lib Dems have cause to be celebrating as their populist stance against the war in Iraq seemed to pay off, as does far-left candidate George Galloway, who gave Blair the bloodiest nose of all, but more importantly gave us all a good laugh at Jeremy Paxman's expense.
